Pop Art oil paintings based on original comic book characters
The paintings are graphic combinations of original characters from period comic books, plus the occasional other found and stylised real-life depictions. The character juxtapositions in the paintings are my own invention and did not occur in any of the original comic books. The resulting images explore relationships, communication, interplay, exchanges, and reactions to implied situations.
