The Isle of Wight Open Studios 2026 event takes place over 11 days from Friday 15th to Monday 25th May 2026. Artists can select what dates/times they will open their studios during this period, and are generally open 11am-4pm, but if different, they will be specified in artists 'about' sections of their web profile pages, and they're all completely FREE to visit!

Getting to the Isle of Wight:

By Ferry: Traverse the Solent with ease aboard one of the many ferry services connecting the mainland to the Isle of Wight. Enjoy breath-taking views of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve as you make your way to our artistic oasis.

By Train: If you prefer to travel by rail, you can catch a train to one of the mainland ferry ports and then hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight. Train services connect major cities like London, Southampton, and Brighton to ferry terminals.

By Bus: Once you're on the island, the bus network offers convenient transportation between towns and villages. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views as you journey to Open Studios venues across the Isle of Wight.

IW Open Studios Showcase Exhibition 2026:

Don't forget to check out our IW Open Studios 2026 Showcase Exhibition at Quay Arts (Newport), featuring work from over 90 Open Studios artists across the Isle of Wight. This vibrant exhibition will celebrate the diversity of creative practice on the Island - from painting and printmaking to ceramics, sculpture, textiles, photography and more. The showcase will offer visitors a unique preview of the creativity that will be on display during the Open Studios event in May. Open daily from 18th April - 30th May 2026.
