I am a Cowes artist and have enjoyed painting and printmaking all of my life.

My work is inspired by the huge variety of wildlife, flora and landscape of the Isle of Wight. I have a particular fascination with painting and drawing the abundant birdlife we find on the Island, especially along the coastal estuaries.

Over the last few years I have been using various forms of printmaking such as linocut, woodcut, collagraph and etching. More recently I have been experimenting with combining some of these techniques.

All my images are hand produced using surfaces which I have carved and shaped before inking and printing.  Each image can have several layers of colour making the process quite complex.  Most are of limited edition. Most of my images are available as greetings cards  

I have taken part in Open Studios for the last 15 years and exhibit with several Island groups including Wight Printmakers.
