About

Land and oceanscape photography has been the anchor to most of my photographic work over the past 40 years, applying my skills to film photgraphy in both colour and black and white. Then in 2000 I slowly transitioned to digital , consequently leading me to expand my options for editing control greatly, allowing me to draw upon light not always visible to the naked eye. Most of my images are from the Northern hemisphere, the furthest being Svalbard near Norway in 2024 where I joined a wildlife photographic expedition in Aberdeen sailing north west through the Iceland and Greenland oceans to Svalbards breath taking glaciers and mountains.
