Join us for an Upcycling Signage Session!

Help spread the word about IWOS 2024! As part of the Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival, artist and IWOS director Caroline Underwood is hosting an upcycling workshop to create new and beautiful signage for artists to display, promoting Isle of Wight Open Studios 2024. This collaborative workshop is a fantastic opportunity for artists and the public to come together, prepare, and get creative.

Workshop Details
When: Saturday, 29th June, 11.30am-2.30pm
Where: Rope Store at Quay Arts, Newport.
No booking required, just drop in and get creative!

We’ll be recycling bunting, boards, and other materials to make unique and eye-catching signs. A range of art materials and stencils will be provided, but please bring along any materials you think will be useful. The more, the merrier! This is a FREE drop-in session, open to everyone. Come along and work alongside local artists to create your own signage, helping to signpost visitors to Isle of Wight Open Studios.

Call for Donations!
We need your help to make this event a success! If you have any of the following items, please bring them along or consider donating:

  • Old open studio red bunting (from artists no longer participating or those willing to rebrand for this year)
  • Large boards that can be turned into signs
  • Spare large sheets of paper
  • Any other materials that might be useful

We look forward to seeing you there!
