Boris Moscoff / Kingfisher Community Art Studio.

Boris Moscoff is an artist and teacher working in a variety of media including sculpture, painting (mainly acrylics), stained-glass, fused glass and mosaics. Most of his inspiration comes from the natural world, especially the West Wight. 

He has given courses in South Africa, Russia and, more recently, in China. 

He runs workshops and one-to-one tuition in his studio at home in Freshwater and at other public venues on the Isle-of-Wight. The studio workshops are typically available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11am-4pm. However, other days and times can also be arranged independently. Just get in touch - 01983 756999.

Boris also creates commisions for individuals and with local communities. Some of the community commissions can be viewed on the island, such as at St Marys Hospital in Newport, at Dimbola Museum or on the promenade in Freshwater Bay.

Finally, he is locally well-known for supporting and training adults with special needs.
